First Blog on Blogspot That isn't for a Class

To whom this may concern,

I just want to write.  That is the reason why I partially created this blog. 

Maybe I will be like Julie in "Julie and Julia" and set up some sort of goal, and then come and write about it here.  Who knows; but I just want to write.  This is what I have realized. 

I do want to attend Fine Arts events and then blog about them.  Maybe I will do that. 

I have also realized that I only smoke when I drink.  My husband doesn't know about this however.  I'm glad that this is a habit that I am not addicted to.  I think the tobacco tastes good. 

Another realization that has come about - it is getting embarrassing to admit that I hate football.  People look at me funny and think I'm insane.  I've tried to give it so many chances.  Yeah, sure I will go and cheer on the Valley City State University football team every now and then, but when it comes to the NFL, my mind goes crazy and I want to break the TV screen.  I really cannot wait for Baseball season to start up again. 

I said I had homework to focus on and I got a response that was exactly this -
"Really?  You want to do homework when the Vikings are playing?! You are crazy!" 
I on the other hand, had no response. 

What can I say?  My genes are in the music and theatre area.  I mean come on, I chose orchestra over Track and Field in high school.  I could not have been happier. 

Oh well -
I guess I can balls up a little bit and try to be normal.
